Add, delete, or edit a send-only address in Yahoo Mail

Send messages that look like they're coming from another one of your email addresses without leaving your Yahoo Mail account. After a send-only account is added, select that address in the "From" field while you're composing or replying to emails.

Add a send-only address

  1. Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon..
  2. Click More Settings.
  3. Click Mailboxes.
  4. Click the More icon More options icon next to "Send-only email address."
  5. Click Add.
  6. Enter the send-only email address.
  7. Click Verify.
  8. Open the email and follow the instructions to verify the address.
Please keep in mind that the total number of 10 Send-Only addresses you can verify is limited by the number of recovery alternate email addresses and phone numbers already on file.
 

Delete a send-only address

  1. Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon..
  2. Click More Settings.
  3. Click Mailboxes.
  4. Click your send-only address.
  5. Click Remove mailbox.
  6. Click Remove mailbox again to confirm.
  7. Click Save.

Edit the "From name" of a send-only address

  1. Click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon..
  2. Click More Settings.
  3. Click Mailboxes.
  4. Click your send-only address.
  5. Enter your name and click Save.
